Welcome to the Senior Junior Forum (SJF) of Wichita Falls’ web site. Senior-Junior Forum is a non-profit organization whose mission is to benefit the community. We are a diverse group of women, comprised of approximately 100 members, who fulfill this mission through volunteering our time and through monetary donations to various organizations in the Wichita Falls community. Our goal is to serve our community and help improve the lives of others. Each of our members has a heart for serving others and a love for the Wichita Falls community.
SJF’s major fundraiser is the annual Red River Wine and Beer Festival which will be held March 24, 2018. Please visit our website for more information at http://redriverwinefestival.com
All the net proceeds from this event directly support our charities. The event offers participants the opportunity to sample various wines and beers, listen to live music, enjoy fabulous food from local food vendors and purchase merchandise through participating vendors at the festival. It's a great time to kick back and have fun while supporting the community! We hope you will join us for this exciting wine and beer tasting event.
Our 2017-2018 service organizations which we support through volunteer hours and/or monetary donations include:
- Beacon Lighthouse for the Blind
- Faith Refuge
- First Step
- Kemp Center for the Arts
- THE Kitchen “Meals on Wheels”
- Midwestern State University Scholarships
- MSU-Burns Fantasy of Lights, and
- Special Olympics - North Texas Area
- Backdoor Theatre Summer Youth Camp
We invite you to take a look at our community service tab to learn more about the organizations we support. Also, please follow us on Facebook to see our organization in action.
